This film will help give you insight into the Balinese gamelan tradition and ensemble called "Gong Kebyar." Pay close attention and take notes on instruments, music characteristics and cultural beliefs and values specific to the Balinese Gong Kebyar. Consider the following questions below when working on your essay.
1. List a few instruments specific to Balinese Gong Kebyar (different from the Javanese gamelan). Give short descriptions for each.

3. Describe your understanding of the term banjar.
