It's a reflexive essay, in the attachment you'll find the reading that you'll use to take an IDEA OR ARGUEMENT NOT THE WHOLE READING that the writer wrote or claim and then you argue against it. Strong and clear thesis about what you write about provide 1-2 reasons to your argument and you should argue against the writer to make it easier then you provide evidences to support your arguments and finally conclude with what you wrote in the thesis and overall essay.

Reflection Essays-

When writing a reflection essay, I want you to follow an argumentation style in your essay. What do I mean by that? I want each of you to write an essay that argues your view on a point that the reading makes. In general your essay should have the following structure - it should make one argument or main point. You should then give reasons to substantiate the point you are making. Then you should back these reasons with evidence or proof. I should see these three aspects in your essay

1. Argument

2. Reasons

3. Evidence

For example, you could make the argument in your essay that technology is the most important factor that should guide progress. You should support that argument with one reason - technology provides a tangible measure for societal advancement. After providing the reason you will then have to defend your reason with evidence. For example, technology provides a tangible measure for societal advancement because it is easy to measure it unlike social measures that are much less easy to measure and are more invasive of privacy.

An essay that incorporates these three aspects will indicate to the reader your ability to reflect on the material you read for class. If you follow this style of reasoning, each of you should be able to write a good reflective essay. The important point to remember is that there is no right answer that I am looking for. The instructor is looking for an indication that you can argue your point persuasively.
The essay should start with a clear introduction that in the first or second sentence succinctly describes the main point you are making in the essay. This should be followed by the main body that should describe your main argument complete with reasons and evidence. The essay should conclude with a restatement of the main point of the essay.
