It is important for change to be an acceptable entity as it relates to templates. The old adage of "necessity is the mother of invention" should ring true. While a the template in use is not an invention, so to speak, it's existence is prefabricated. This prefabrication should be susceptible to change, as business needs arise. Its basic platform should not have to be manipulated to the point of vast change, changing its face completely, but slight changes to it may lead to a better outcome to the project at hand, leaving all pertinent parties satisfied with the outcome. Granted there, are those are going to resist changing templates, and will have to be convinced that change is not a bad thing, but a necessity for the betterment of all. If templates don't change, it can lead to the failure of a PM, because resiting change can lead to loss of revenue for any industry or orgniation.
