Discussion - Faculty Diversity

At a faculty meeting a month before a new school year begins, you have just had all the new teachers introduce themselves and share their backgrounds.

They also indicated the subject area in which they will be teaching. One new teacher, Susan, arrives late, and you have her introduce herself. Later in the meeting, you share that the previous coach of the Math Bowl Team is no longer teaching at the school. You ask for volunteers.

Susan interjects and says, "Mr. Chang-Lin is probably the best person for the job." Mr. Chang-Lin had introduced himself as the new English teacher.
