In the past, dressing for a day at the office meant the traditional suit, tie, or blouse and skirt. Now with the rise of younger companies like Google and Amazon, a day at the office is more casual (in some cases I am told people are wearing PJs to work). In fact, with the move to the "work from home" trend, the business attire is slowly dwindling. Some stores like Mens Warehouse and Jos A Bank are attempting to find new footholes to boost sales in hopes that there can be a resurgence in the fashion world with "business casual." For women, the trend to wear less sneakers and more business orient items with jeans is actually increasing. What do you make of these trends? Do you think they can survive? How does this impact the market, and potential client interactions in the future?
