Implement the wireframe design and provide appropriate

Task 1 - wireframe

1. Create a wireframe (page design) for a special offer page for Premier Choice Holidays. The wireframe should be created electronically and saved as a pdf document

2. The wireframe should include (as well as the visual representation of the page design) notes on:

a. The design choices that you have made such as the font types, text size, colours, layout, navigation etc.

b. The reasons for your design choices (e.g. to do with the target audience, the purpose of the site etc.)

Task 2

Create a special offer page with the file nameoffer.html. It should:

• Implement the wireframe design that you created for task 1

• Provide appropriate information about a current special offer, e.g. buy now and receive a discount

• Include an appropriate image(s)

• Include a navigation area with 6 links: "home", "find out more", "offer", "credits", "admin" and "wireframe". When the web site is complete these links will take the user to an appropriate web page. For this part of the assignment you are only required to produce the special offer page so the links should be only "dummy" ones at this point, i.e. link only to the special offer page itself - the exceptions being ‘wireframe' link which should link to the wireframe that you created for task 1 and ‘offer' which should link to the special offer page itself ("offer.html")

• Include features such as features such as sectioning elements (e.g. nav. etc.), headings, paragraphs and lists to structure the content of the page appropriately

• Use a range of appropriate HTML tags

• Be linked to a CSS file that you will create in task 3

Task 3

Create a CSS file that specifies ALL of the styles for the special offer page, for example styles for specifying:

• An appropriate layout to implement a fluid design that resizes according to viewport size
• Background colour(s)
• Text colour(s), font faces, and visual emphasis
• Navigation links (e.g. link states - active, visited, hover - including the colour, font type and size of links, and whether the links are underlined or not)
• Paragraphs, headings etc.

You should aim to style a range of selectors including html tags, classes and ids. Try to take advantage of the cascading nature of style sheet definitions so as not to include unnecessary repetition. The choice of styles is up to you. However, you should consider good design practice when making your choices.
