Problem:
Adult education emerged for older adults to advance in their current jobs so that they had to move ahead financially and professionally. Many people during the 70's was trying to get ahead, so the best way was for them to further their education in other ways but had to do away with the traditional methods due to how people of various stages of their life will learn and in different settings. I think that adult education depending on the individual does not have to be its own filed unless there are cognitive issues with an individual then they may have to look at a different method of learning.
