Problem:
Respond to Andy add to his post Collapse Identifying groups can go both ways by race or affiliation. Most races stick together when it comes to jail politics. Also, tattoos can be a major identifier when categorizing gang groups, an inmate denying affiliation can easily be dissected watching their everyday activity and who is around them. I would observe their actions daily to assess their role and position. I would also document/photograph tattoos, symbols, numbers, colors and compare them to others that is on file and recorded. Race is always a thing in prisons as well where each race usually sticks together which can be a reasonable indicator. People can have tattoos similar but doesn't automatically categorize them into a gang. Changing potential dangerous or targeted individuals to other housing can be a good idea but also can't just fill a house with all affiliated group/gang members, I feel that can lead to an uprising or activity to conspire contraband, riots, or other schemes. I would also stay alert to any signs of recruitment, extortion, or threats toward other inmates and document everything I observed. Need Assignment Help?
