Oman Foods International SAOC, formerly known as National Rice Mills SAOC, is a Public Joint Stock Company in the Sultanate of Oman. OFI was established in the year 1996 with the initiative of Government of Oman, banker and private sector companies. At present, OFI sells processed rice under its own brand names as well as under the brand name of its Customers. They have also launched premium brands, namely; Shaffaf, Al-Behan basmati rice. Shaffaf Gold and Asila Gold are the other two brands developed by the Company to market premium quality Indian rice.

This company have separate department to maintain the records all the product details will be stores with their respective quantity of stock available and the supplier details who will order the product. Each food brands are categorized for the customer to purchase the food products. The employees are recruited from the HR department. The software consolidates data from every level of the business --\operations; inventory finance, sales & marketing, packaging,\human resources and more, to help retailers improve store performance by making timely adjustments to merchandising and promotions, aligning corporate and store operations around critical revenue targets, and managing inventory and operational costs consistently across stores and locations. Each brand product will undergo quality check to ensure that it is with high standards. Oman Foods International is having the following four Branches: Bu Hassan Branch, Musanna Branch, Nizwa Branch, and Salalah Branch. Oman Foods International company's day-to-day affairs are managed by a management team comprising of the General Manager - Operations, Chief Financial Officer and other personnel. Oman Foods Intl has a team of qualified professional Managers and has ensured the quality and standards in all its operations. Today, Oman Foods International synonymous with the rice processing industry of Oman. 1 Identify the requirements of the company.

2 Produce a process model comprising of:

o A levelled set of data flow diagrams including a context and a level 1 DFD with one of c the main processes decomposed to an appropriate level.

3 Produce an entity relationship diagram to support the business requirements including:
o A list of attributes with primary and foreign keys identified.

4 Produce an event model for the entity 'quotation'.

5 Provide a sample of documentation for one of the elements of each model for example an:
o event description, process description, external entity description, data flow description, data store description and an entity description

6 Provide evidence of correlation of the models.

7 Using Microsoft Access, implement those parts of your model, which relate to the management of projects, purchase of materials for projects, and staged completion of projects.

The database must be able to provide the following information to management:
o A report showing which projects are behind schedule.
o An invoice, based on a parameter query, showing the material costs for a project. The invoice most be formatted and presented to commercial standards
o A report which shows which employees are working on which project and which identifies the project manager and secretary for each project
o One additional report which provides information that you think would be useful to the management

8 Design and implement a suitable user interface for the application, taking into account relevant HCI principles and providing an explicit rationale for your interface design decisions (i.e. refer to HCl/usability principles/research to justify each interface design feature, citing your sources using the Harvard system).

9 Provide evidence that the artefact satisfies the user requirements including evaluation of usability, and explain why you have chosen those particular usability evaluation methods.
