Identify the project management methodology used in the

Overview

The final project for this course is the creation of a case study analysis. You will select one of two case studies to analyze, identifying its positive and negative events and providing high-level recommendations to solve identified and potential issues.

The final product represents an authentic demonstration of competency because the management of projects is essential to the success of business initiatives.

It is likely you will be involved in a project as team members or stakeholders at some point in your career; therefore, it is important that you understand what project management is, how it works, and what language you should use to communicate project progress and plans.

Having a basic understanding of the various methodologies will also make you flexible and capable of using the most appropriate techniques for different project situations.

The project is divided into two milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Modules Three and Five. The final product will be submitted in Module Seven.

In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcomes:

• Determine appropriate application of project management methodologies based on key project factors

• Analyze the management of real world projects and operations for identifying potential improvements

• Analyze projects in terms of how the knowledge areas and process groups of project management are used

• Analyze communication and collaboration strategies for their use in managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
