Identify the percentage by which benzene is fed in excess

C6H5Cl, an important solvent and intermediate in the production in enough of many other chemicals, through liquid benzene is produced by bubbling the chlorine gas in the presence of ferric chloride. The product is further chlorinated to dichlorobenzene, and in a third reaction the dichlorobenzene is chlorinated to trichloro benzene. The feed to a chlorination reactor consists of essentially pure benzene and a technical grade of chlorine gas (98 wt% Cl2, the balance gaseous impurities with an average molecular weight of 25). The liquid output from the reactor contains 32% C6H5Cl, 65 wt% C6H6, .5%C6H3Cl3 and 2.5% C6H4Cl2. The gaseous output contains only HCl and the impurities that entered with the chlorine.
Identify the percentage by which the benzene is fed in excess, the fractional yield of monochloro benzene, the fractional conversion of benzene, and the mass ratio of the gas feed to the liquid feed.
