The identification of the internal categories for the audience that will have a focus on the evaluation program will be students as well as administrators. The two external audiences to the institution which may be interested in the evaluation program outside would be the board of governors as well as regulatory forces within the particular state educational board. One of the reason why students would be an audience that would be interested in the valuation is because they have the highest level of stakeholder in developing this type of evaluation program. They have the most to gain as well as the most to lose if the evaluation is not beneficial or effective moving forward.

The teachers or administrators would also have a high level of investment as well as their opportunity to contribute to the evaluation program. This will be important to analyze as well as make sure that there is a focus on their career development across the entire landscape. The board of governors with reference to the institution also have a level of investment because they represent the organization as well as the University (Field., 2017). They have an opportunity to extend the value systems that are there as well as the systematic approach that will elevate the educational attainment of everyone. The regulatory forces in the state also have an investment to ensure that there is a high level of education attainment and accessibility. These are concepts that will allow everyone to be successful and at the same time make sure that there is a high level of evaluation across the entire educational evaluation process.

Internal Audience Sources

When considering program evaluations and who might be interested in them internally, the first source that comes to mind is students. Without students, a program is nothing. Program evaluations matter to students because it makes sure that the programs they are planning on pursuing are successful. Another internal audience to a program evaluation would be the Dean of the Mathematics Department. This program evaluation matters as they must make sure that their program and faculty are succeeding in their yearly targets. This also provides them with useful data that they can use to modify the curriculum and faculty changes.

External Audience Sources

When considering program evaluations and who might be interested in them externally one of the most significant audience sources that come to mind would be an accrediting agency. Jamestown College having a program accredited means that it is nationally recognized as a legitimate program and that the university degree is recognized all over the United States. The second external audience that comes to mind would be the board of directors that oversee the university affairs. "Colleges and universities also have governance structures, much like other organizations. As it pertains to public and private schools, where matters are differentiated a bit is to whom the board of directors and others in leadership roles give their accountability. In private colleges and universities, the governing body is accountable to the shareholders and other stakeholders, particularly the students and their parents." (Price, 2018) This board of directors makes sure that the university is providing students with a successful academic career if they receive complaints about a program not fulfilling its promises it can order a program evaluation to see what issues are arising and come up with a plan of action.
