Problem
A. Choose an industry that you are studying in your VET course, have completed Work Experience/Structured Workplace Learning or have a part time job in
B. Choose 6 -8 hazards/risks that are common in your chosen industry, for any role you wish within that industry. Each hazard to be listed on the Risk Assessment Template below.
C. Put them all in the same template - clearly label each hazard
D. Identify the impact/impacts of each of the chosen hazards.
E. Rate each hazard by using the Risk Matrix and Risk Level chart.
F. Select appropriate control measures for each hazard/risk and identify any residual risk.
G. Provide a rating on the effectiveness of the control measures
H. Provide additional comments on the strengths and weaknesses of the control measures.
