The study is below:

"A small model for working with elementary school children of alcoholics." This article focuses on school-age children and how elementary school counselors are able to help children who have alcoholic parents and help the children to build protective barriers and coping strategies. The author provide evidence from various studies that revealed signs of depression, low self-esteem, and negative emotions among children of alcoholics (COA). Arman explain the sessions that are available to help school counselors to identify, monitor, and educate children of alcoholics (COA), and also willing to help family members as well. The counselors are skilled and trained on how to ask and receive proper help for family members with problems and children of alcoholics, the help consist of group sessions that will help the children to utilize coping skills (Arman, J., 290). The author argues the importance for school counselors to take proactive approach and reach out to those children of alcoholics. School professions, teachers, parents, and children of alcoholics are the key to developing supportive school-based groups to help children advance to the next level (Arman, J., 290)
