Identify an empirical article for a research article


Please identify an EMPIRICAL article for a research article critique on some topic related to educational psychology. You can use the chapter topics for possible areas of educational psychology to consider.

You need to write a critique that follows APA formatting with a title page and a References page. The References page must have your article cited correctly in APA style. Do NOT rely on your word processing citation generator. It will probably be wrong.

PLEASE NOTE: You MUST upload a pdf or a link to your article to receive credit.

Without the article, you will receive NO credit for this assignment. There is no specific length for this assignment, but since you need a title page and a References page, you will have at least three pages.

You may write your critique in essay format or outline format as long as you address all parts of the assignment.

ERIC articles. There are sometimes full-text articles in ERIC.

Frontiers in Education: Educational Psychology.

Journal of Educational and Developmental Psychology.

American Journal of Educational Research.

Additional sources: If you find an article you like, but it is not available full-text online, do a Google search for the author. Many will list a full-text version on their c.v. or web pages. They may also have a page in ResearchGate where they have the full-text available.

Grading Rubric:

Paper Formatting: The paper is ORGANIZED using APA style (cover page, References page). The paper is formatted using APA style (Times New Roman/Calibri, double spacing). The article is cited correctly in APA style.

Problem Statement/Variables: What is the problem the researchers studied? Identify all variables of interest.

Research Methodology: Audience is identified. Who is the article intended for? Type of article is identified. Give an overview or summary of the research. Do not copy the abstract. Participants and data collection are identified.

Data Analysis: Methods of analysis are identified.

Findings/Results: Findings are reported.

Remember: If you are using more than five consecutive words directly from a source, use quotation marks. If you use less than consecutive words together, you do not need to use quotation marks.
