1) Identify a target audience for your literature review.
2) Conduct a focused literature search of primary research on the topic, and review the articles you find. Keep track of your research so you that can cite your chosen articles correctly. Primary research articles are ones in which the author is reporting his or her research findings. These include reports of empirical studies, review articles, theoretical articles, methodological articles, and case studies.
3) Create literature review of 12 to 15 articles that describes each study in your review and discusses the strengths and limitations of the research. Be sure to make suggestions for further research. Focus on answering your research question.
4) Organize your literature review into three major parts: an introduction that includes your defined research question, the body of the report, and a conclusion. Begin the paper with clear page and end it with a references list.
