1. Identify a small business in your community that has recently expanded. Interview the owner of the firm about the methods used in evaluating the expansion.
2. Either alone or with a classmate, approach an owner of a small company about getting data on a current problem or one the company encountered at some time in the past, to see whether you would reach the same decision as the owner did.
