Identify a non-residential segment of the property market

- You are to present a report (3,000 - 4,000 words). it should be well presented, logical and clear in the points you are making.

- You must identify a non-residential segment of the property market in which you are interested. This could be retail, commercial, industrial, rural or another more specialised area. Whichever you choose you'll need to be able to access sufficient research information to complete this task.

- Then consider the specific locality to write your report about, for example North Sydney, Silverwater, Sydney CBD, etc. Please note the area is up to you and does not have to be in metropolitan Sydney.

- Once you have decided upon your area of interest you should research the area and market you have decided to write about and present this research in a report style document. Your report should include what has happened in the recent past, what is currently happening and likely movements and directions for the future.

- In your report you should comment on the current economic climate and its attendant drivers at the time of writing. This might include, but is not limited to, interest rates, GDP, employment, consumer confidence, Government policy, world events etc. and any inter-relationship that might exist between them.

- You should also comment on where your chosen market is currently situated on the Property Clock and the next stage that you anticipate it is moving to.

- Your research should be from a minimum of three (3) different sources and you should identify these sources in your report. The report should also include graphs, charts, diagrams, as necessary to better present your case and its conclusions.
