Students will research a local company and design and present a Comprehensive Workplace Wellness program to be implemented in the organization (including the plan, implementation strategy and evaluating for improvements).

1) Start it: Plan

a) Identify a local organization and research company information and data required for needs assessment and business case (size, industry, culture, current wellness activities, current challenges, unique opportunities)

b) What data/metrics will you collect and how (Website information, annual reports)

c) How will you use this data to guide your program planning process?

d) Outline the comprehensive workplace wellness program-including all initiatives you will implement and provide the rationale for your choices.

e) How will you integrate the program into the current culture and organization?

f) Identify what additional resources you will need and how those resources will be allocated.

2) Build it: Program Implementation

a) Develop a communication plan for your Comprehensive program and provide the rationale for your choices.

b) Develop an implementation strategy for your initiatives - creating a movement

c) Identify any concerns associated with implementation and your plans for mitigating those concerns.

3) Make it last: Program Evaluation

a) How will you measure program effectiveness?

b) Identify what type(s) of evaluation you will conduct and provide the rationale for your choices.

c) What steps will you take to ensure continuous program improvements?
