Discussion: Generic Qualitative Design
For this discussion, read the sections on methodology in the attached dissertation file, then address in 375-425 words the following:
1. Compare and contrast the rationale provided for the use of the generic qualitative approach for their research in each of the 2 dissertations.
2. Note strengths and limitations of the methodology.
3. Explain how you might consider using the generic qualitative design to study your own topic -- my topic is Clergy Health and Well-being in Retirement -- it is an Identify Crisis -- I plan on using Erickson's 7th Stage of Psychosocial Crisis or Adjustment - namely, Stagnation versus Generativity.
