Problem
We have spent considerable time in this course reading about and applying Critical Thinking. Dr. Sandel talks about the personal and political RISKS of "self-knowledge". This is part of the "Baysian" updating we must do in our thinking processes when what we thought we knew for certain is challenged with new facts in evidence. It is often difficult to change our opinions and beliefs even when we are looking straight at the evidence. On the other hand, we can't un-know something. What is Bays Theorem and how can you apply it in the context knowledge acquisition? Reflect on how your own education, thus far, has impacted (or not) your thinking, attitudes and beliefs.
