How would your questions about the sun lead to an inquiry

Problem: When the teacher is presenting new material it's really important for the teacher to start off with some sort of question in order to begin stimulating their student's minds. When a teacher starts the lesson with an intriguing question for the students, it really helps set the tone for the new lesson. Let's say you are beginning to teach a new science lesson about the sun, a good way to start the lesson would be to ask the students "what do we know about the sun"? This is a great way to jog their memory. The teacher can even write down what the student knows in order to start this process and lesson as well. This can be written down on a big piece of butcher paper in order for all of the students to see.

How would your questions about the sun lead to an inquiry lesson in which students are leading their own learning?
