Read the JayDees's Supermarket Case on Managing Change. Then, 3-5 page, college-level paper on your recommendations for how to communicate this change to the employees of Marble Foods.

Remember, the purpose of this paper is to demonstrate your knowledge of the change management topics covered in this course. Short answers which do not provide an explanation of your thinking and/or examples from the Case or other organizations will not receive full credit.

Your response to this Case Study should cover the following seven (7) questions.

1. Who should be involved in communicating this change to Marble Food's employees and managers? Consider would be the most credible trusted source to do the communication of the change.

2. What benefits of this change for customers; employees; and the organization would you stress with employees?

3. How would you create a sense of urgency?  What emotional appeals might create urgency and buy-in for the change?

4. What aspects of the plan for getting each store fully integrated into the JayDee;s organization would you stress?

5. How will you explain the training employees will receive in the changes in structures; methods; technologies, procedures; skills, behaviors, culture, etc. What will they need to become integrated into the Jaydee's organization?

6. What are the questions you would expect Marble Food's employees to ask? Include at least 5 questions?

7. What kinds of resistance or obstacles to the change might you encounter? How would you handle the resistance?

You should write a paragraph or two about each of the questions you select.
