Select a topic area you are interested in. See the Tentative Schedule below for the topics covered in the course. This must be related to the general area of production planning and scheduling. Describe the way a specific company has applied the key concepts in the area you have selected. Eventually, you will turn in a report summarizing what you have found.
It is a properly formatted short report (1-2 pages + a cover page).
The statement should answer the following questions:
• What is the problem you are solving?
• Why is it interesting and who would use it when solved?
• What data will you use?
• How will you collect and organize the data?
• What work do you plan to do in the project?
It has the following subsections:
• Project title,
• Team members,
• The targeted system that will be studied.
