Communication have many different definitions According to Wallace and Roberson, communication is when two people are exchanging information (2009). Communication Is very important. In order to be an effective leader, you must have good communication skills (Meese & Ortmeier, 2001). If a person feel they are not heard or that there's only one-way communication, they are more likely to not communicate. People also want truthful communication. If communication is filled with lies, they are more likely to not communicate. According to Meese and Ortmeier, if communication does not have truth by being ambiguous, leads to unethical communication (2001).

It's important to be truthful no matter how it will make the person feel because untruthful conversations also will lead to misunderstanding of information. Not being truthful in the workplace can lead to complexity of the workplace (Trevino, 2018). Dishonesty in the workplace can lead to complexity of the workplace (Trevino, 2018).

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, I have to be on top of my documentation because we send them to customers or can get marked during auditing. There was a time I had to take action because the information was incorrect on the papers and I did not have all the information on who done it. I just assumed it was the previous shift because it was already done, and first shift had just started. This assumption led to injustice for the previous shift. The previous shift felt they were blamed but didn't have no say so to what happened because they were not there. This led to distrust and tension between both shifts. I felt had I only listened to the first shift this could have been prevented. I should have gone straight to my boss and let them call the previous shift to come back in and give them the opportunity to explain what happened.

I also had a situation where when I asked people to correct errors or questioned why they did something a certain way, they expressed to me that they were actually confused on the paper work and offered suggestions on how changing the papers a certain why would help them not to be confused. Although I had a busy workload, I took the time and listened to them and told them I understood. Then, I took their suggestions to my boss and a few weeks later we all had a meeting and papers got changed. This showed them that once they spoke out on something that was difficult for them, someone listened and caused a change for the better.

James 1:19 says to be quick to listen and slow to speak and slow to anger (ESV). Which is saying listen to what others have to say and don't always this you have to be heard. Also, it is saying don't get angry at what others have to say.

250-word reply

The reply requires a minimum of 1 properly formatted citation. Each reply must be completed by you, the individual student. Additionally, each thread and reply must reflect a solid Christian worldview through the use of at least 1 Holy Bible reference.

Responding to a classmate's post requires both the addition of new ideas and analysis. A particular point made by the classmate must be addressed and built upon by your analysis in order to move the conversation forward. Thus, the response post is a rigorous assignment that requires you to build upon initial posts to develop deeper and more thorough discussion of the ideas introduced in the initial posts. As such, reply posts that merely affirm, restate, or unprofessionally quarrel with the previous post(s) and fail to make a valuable, substantive contribution to the discussion will receive appropriate point deductions.
