The aftermath of the Second World War brought turmoil in the world in the way of a "Cold" rather than a "Hot" war. While "Hot" or physical war plagued the first half of the twentieth century, the latter half was stuck in the perpetual loop of the precipice of war. In the midst of this "Cold War" the world, too, began to undo much of the issues that perpetuated World War I and World War II, namely Colonialism and Imperialism.
