How to play the role as a counselor/coach

Problem:

Good evening, In this scenario we are looking at a client, a child in which I coach, and I play the role as a counselor/coach. As for this I would use the Forester-Miller and Davis (2016) ethical decision-making model. Being a coach and counselor for both parties makes concerns as far as for boundaries and confidentiality. As both roles are being used there would be a line in which would be drawn to keep both parties suited for boundaries. "Counselors consider the risks and benefits of extending current counseling relationships beyond conventional parameters" (ACA, 2014). When it comes to the child I'd like to be support for them in the coaching role I hold but also give reassurance toward the child letting them know to seek personal concerns with a parent or a counselor. As the coach I want the child to be heard with their concerns but let him understand when it comes to his parents private conversations I can not give advice in regard to it. In this role I don't want to intertwine both roles into one. As for the parent of the child which is my client I'd like to speak a little bit of the interaction I had during practice not to much but enough to ensure transparency and revisit informed consent. As for myself in this scenario had the situation continue escalating in where I find myself compromised I would consider referring the parent to another counselor or switch over as the coach. In this situation prioritizing autonomy, fidelity, nonmaleficence to protect both client and child would be best. Need Assignment Help?
