How to leverage the act of compare-and-contrast

Problem:

In this discussion, we'll leverage the act of compare-and-contrast to differentiate between and drive home the theories proposed by the four social cognitivists: Kelly, Mischel, Rotter, and Bandura.

Consider two people in your life who are very different from each other (one of them can be you). Think about their personality, the way they view the world and how they view themselves. With this foundation laid, answer a - f (consider labeling them somehow, to organize your response visually for your readers).

Briefly describe each person - who are they? How have you come to know them well enough to apply these four personality theories to them? Need Assignment Help?

Both people find themselves in an argument with a coworker. Describe how their personal constructs (as Kelly would describe them) influence how they behave during that argument. Walk us through what that looks like through the lens of personal construct theory.

Consider each person's locus of control vis-à-vis Rotter's theory of personality. How might differing loci of control explain why the two people you chose are so different? Briefly share how each have reacted differently in similar situations (given their different loci of control) and how that has influenced/represents their personality.

Would person A have eaten the marshmallow as a child? Would person B have? Referencing Mishel's theory, discuss how the ability/inability to delay gratification early in life might have predicted their personality differences later in life. Remember to ground your response in specific examples.

Think about each person's level of self-efficacy. If it helps to think within a particular context (i.e. school, work, physical ability, cognitive ability, etc. you can, or you can just think of their general sense of self-efficacy...do they believe they can do most things or believe they can't do most things?). Discuss how you think Bandura's notion of self-efficacy has contributed to their personality and how things have gone or for them in their lives.

In your opinion, do one of these four theories better explain the differences between these two people than the others? Which one and, briefly, why?
