General Ship Building has contract with Department of the Navy to create three new aircraft carriers over next five years. In the construction of first ship, project manager formed auditing team to audit construction process for three ships. After picking audit team members, he requested that they create set of minimum needs for projects and use this as baseline in audit. While reviewing contract documents, auditing team member discovered discrepancy between contract minimum needs and Navy's minimum requirements. Based on his results, he has told project manager that he has made decision to contact local Navy contract office and inform them of the problem.
