Philosophy Paper: What kind of teacher leader will you be?
Each student will be required to write a reflective essay on the course content, synthesizing the following:
• How has my definition of leadership changed through this course?
• What kind of a leader was I when I began this course?
• What kind of a leader am I becoming and why?
• What kind of leadership style best suits my classroom needs and why?
• 'What previous leadership styles have I experienced OR utilized personally that have proven to be failures and why?
• Why is leadership important in the 219 Century classroom experience?
• How does the absence of effective leadership affect the classroom?
• How does the presence of effective leadership enhance the classroom?
The essay must be substantive in content/reflection and be presented at college level. A minimum of 5 sources MUST be used and MUST be cited within the body of the essay. These sources MUST be referenced at the conclusion of the essay. The student MUST use the APA Formatting and Style Guide for writing and style of both essay and references. This is a requirement for successfully completing the course.
