Think about where Walker's text shifts all of the sudden--to thinking about slavery, mail order brides, Indian (Native Americans) and teens. Choose one of these topics about which you want to learn more. Post a link or copy some of your research (cited) into this discussion and comment on it. What did you learn? Was anything surprising?
