Problem: Age Is Only a Number
If one lives long enough, they reach the point when people begin to see them as old. This week look at the Presentation for Inequalities of Gender and Age. Click through the presentation slides until you come to the section on Age. Watch the videos (there are several) then think about these questions?
• At what age do you consider a person old?
• Why do you think that they are old at that age?
• How does American society deal with its aging members?
• Pick another country in some other part of the world and tell me how they deal with the aging in a different manner than the United States.
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
