Interview a mentor teacher, guest teacher, or teacher of excellence about his/her guiding beliefs for how teaching and learning occur in the classroom.
Homework needs to focus on two areas:
i. Information from the interview. Make sure you quote the teacher's responses.
ii. Philosophic Orientation of the teacher.

Interview Questions: Choose four questions for your interview from the list below. Write the question in bold first and then their response. Do this for all four questions.
i. What is your primary role as a teacher?
ii. What do you teach your students and how do you prepare for class?
iii. What are your beliefs about students?
iv. How do you motivate your students?
v. What is the best and hardest part of teaching for you?
vi. How do you plan for classroom management?
vii. How do you build relationships with co-workers?
viii. What strategies do you use to combat challenging behaviors?
ix. How do you build relationships with your students and their families?
x. As an educator, what do you believe is the main role of a teacher?
xi. What advice about teaching would you give to a new teacher?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
