How do you function with boredom

Assignment task: Chapter 1 of Habits of the Creative Mind has a lot going in; it functions as the thesis statement for the rest of the book.

Essentially, I found three key takeaways as a reader:

1. How do you function with boredom? What is your response to being bored? Can you make seemingly boring things interesting?

2. How do you think? And do you think with intentionality? Do you understand what it means to deliberate?

3. What are you a master of, meaning, what are you good/great at doing? What habits are instilled with the things you are good or great at?

Consider these questions; now apply them to your relationship/process with reading and writing.

Can you write when you are bored? What happens when you always find the tasks of reading and writing boring?

Do you spend time thinking about what you are reading and what you are going to write? How much time do you spend deliberating on things?

What habits do you have when it comes to reading and writing? Do you have any at all? If the answer is no, what do you do then?

Lastly, what three words do you associate with this chapter? And is there anything you disagree with in the chapter?
