Problem: Bob is generally a good employee and has been with the company for 30 years. He has not had to have any remedial discussions. Recently, a new software was introduced that requires certain levels of documentation be present. Bob is resistant to learning this, and his work product has fallen behind. He says he doesn't want it and doesn't want to learn it. He complains there was nothing wrong with the old way of doing things. There have been company memos out for months stating this change was coming and that all employees must attend one of the workshops to get proficient on the new software. Bob has attended none.
