Write a brief essay on the main points made by Modern Money Theory as it was discussed in class, the MMT readings in Blackboard, and the guest seminar by Avi Baranes. Specifically, you should list and briefly explain each of the main points, providing some background and intuition for each. How are the conclusions of MMT imiportant for macroeconomic policy in an open economy? You may also add your critique of MMT: Where do you question its conclusions and why?
