Research a journal article on self-concept and self-esteem, summarize the article and use that information along with your course readings to respond to the following:
1) How can culture, ethnicity, and race influence self-esteem and self-concept?
2) How can parental divorce impact the development of self-esteem in middle childhood? Would child outcomes, including physical health and social functioning, differ depending on the level of hostility and tension between parents?
3) Adolescence is often referred to as a time of increased stress. Do you believe there are certain periods in life that are relatively stressed free or stressful? Do people of all ages experience stress? How do stressors differ by age?
