Each question will be graded on multiple criteria as follows.

1) Does your answer address the question? Commit to a specific response. If you have 3 options, pick one answer and justify it. Don't say options A or C would be good. Commit to one answer.

2) Justification of your answer.

a. Clearly defend your response. You may need to compare and contrast the options to make a case for your position.
b. If there are strong arguments for the alternate decisions, you should address them. There are often arguments for multiple directions, and you want to show that you took all those points into account when coming up with your recommendation.

c. You generally need supporting facts to justify your answer.

d. Give references to support your answer. Hyperlinks to web references are good. The more authoritative the better.
3) Presentation should be professional

a. Your response should be well written, grammatically correct, and spelled correctly.

b. This should be written in a manner suitable for a report to your employer or the client.

c. Use full sentences to make your arguments. Bullet points are ok, but there should still be a paragraph or two to address the main points and provide context.

4) Format

a. The length of each question will vary depending on the question. Target something like an executive summary length. That is provide the main points with supporting facts, but you don't need to go into extensive descriptions. I would think each question could be comfortably answered in less than 2 - 3 pages for a total of about 5 or 6 pages.

2) Develop a recommendation for a friend or relative that is interested in having a web page for the first time. They are not really sure what they will do with it - maybe share pictures, and be able to share significant events with others. Since they don't know anything about this, you need to layout any processes they will need to follow (they don't know how to even start). They don't have a lot of time or money to put to this. 50 pts

3) Develop a separate recommendation for an individual that has an existing small-medium business and now wants to create a new web presence. They know they want some basic things like information about their company and products, and would also like to sell things on-line. They are brand new to the internet, but they do have a small IT staff, although they don't have any experience with working with the web. Note, I would expect some differences between these two cases. 50 pts

f. Name at least 3 best practices for the whole website (not just the web design practices we did in the assignment). For Example, it is a good idea to go with a well-known web hosting company with a good reputation for your web hosting. Also, although more expensive, it is a good idea to have a .com web page than any of the others that are available.

Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:

1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.

2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
