Discussion Post: Methods of Communication
Here are the methods of teacher communication with families:
• Daily conversation
• Electronic communication
• Telephone call
• Personal note
• Bulletin board
• Daily news flash
• Monthly newsletter
For each of the methods listed above, provide the following information:
• Definition of each method
• Description of how a teacher would implement the method
• Description of the advantages and disadvantages of the method
• Explanation of how the method could be used to partner with and educate families.
