A heavy wooden block rests on the flat table and a high-speed bullet is fired horizontally to the block, the bullet stopping in it. Determine how far will the block slide before coming to a stop? The mass of the bullet is around 12.2 g, the mass of the block is around 10.3 kg, the bullet's impact speed is around 820 m/s and the coefficient of kinetic friction among the block and the table is around 0.220. (Suppose that the bullet doesn’t cause the block to spin.)
