Discussion 1 - Script: Hello and welcome to today's workplace program presentation. This program's mission is to provide a stronger physical and mental support system in the workplace environment for all employees of ABC COMPANY.

The vision and future of this program are to produce an overall rise in employee, participation desire and satisfaction for the workplace. Now, this program has been created with information collected from employees to address the health concerns of ABC Company.

Questions were asked via questionnaire with group interviews being held shortly after.

The results produced by the employees show that many considered their job to be high in stress. With a few being dissatisfied with the social work environment. Outside of work, much of the employees seemed to be doing well on a personal level with the results showing high satisfaction with life in general.

This is excellent news, but we also want to make working at ABC Company a pleasant experience. This program helps us recognize significant health concerns and adjust the workplace as needed. Right now, the workplace program and ABC Company aim to decrease unnecessary stress being placed on the employees. Stress affects us as humans on both a mental and physical level. Many tactics can be used to achieve this goal.

We have discussed preventing work burnout but revising work policies to make employee workload reasonable. Also, we will be holding monthly meetings to discuss specific details about what may be causing stressors, tips on relieving stress, and what might be good to accomplish in the workplace to provide for more employee accommodations. Another noted cause for concern was the social environment. A few employees reported not being happy with the social work environment. I believe that team building exercises might help this situation.

Weekend work trips are another great way to gain a stronger connection with coworkers and in turn, creates a more communicative work environment. Lastly, the results show a need and want for more physical activity. This can be done in a few ways, but for this portion, we are going to have a little fun. We are encouraging employees to take a walk during lunch breaks and stretch during office hours.

We will also be providing an opportunity to enjoy some sports! Every month we will hold what will be called the ABC Company games. On the chosen day employees can participate in tournaments to win prizes. Each game will be geared towards getting you moving and just having fun.

These methods for encouraging physical activity will be monitored to check for productivity and usefulness. In short, we don't want to use methods that don't work so we want to take steps to keep improving. Of course, research has been done ahead of time not only by receiving information from you all but also from proven methods having been done in previous health programs like this one.

Additional surveys will be conducted throughout the process to better evaluate the progress of the program and the steps we have taken to create a better work environment for everyone. Before we conclude, both I and ABC Company want to thank you for your submissions and participation in the questionnaires and group interviews to help is creating this health program for you all. If anyone has any questions, I am here to answer them. Thank you and have a great rest of your work day!
