This six- to eight-page final paper (not including the title page and reference page) will examine goal setting and attainment either as a strategy alone or as part of a larger contextual effort. For example, the topic could simply be goal-setting theory and attainment strategies and the paper will examine the basic concepts. Or, the paper could combine knowledge about goal setting and attainment and how these strategies are used in applied settings, such as attaining a military objective, completing a major project, attaining a college degree, achieving retirement dreams, attaining sales targets, or coaching a youth soccer or baseball team.
