General addition rule

You have a hat and put 15 different marbles inside of it: 5 are blue, 4 are red, 4 are green, and 2 are yellow. Let A be the event you pull out a blue or red marble and let B be the event you pull out a red or green marble. Any given marble (ignoring color) has the same chance of being pulled out, 1/15. Find the following probabilities:

(a) P(A)

(b) P(B)

(c) P(Ac)

(d) P(A and B).

(e) P(B|A). Use this show to show whether or not A and B are independent.

(f) Use the general addition rule to find P(A or B).
