Freedom of speech-guns-consumer protection

Questions:

Freedom of Speech, Guns, Consumer Protection

Question 1:

1. Find an article or a case (but NOT an online dictionary or wiki entry) that discusses an issue in the news relating to a Constitutional issue or else a discussion of a Constitutional provision.

2. Attach a link that works to your article or case.

3. Summarize what the article or case says IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Do NOT cut and paste. This could be three sentences.

4. Explain how you think the article or case relates to definition of STATE LAW or FEDERAL LAW. This should be between 2-3 sentences.

5. Explain your opinion, reaction, or reflections regarding the article, any questions that came up for you while reading the article and/or how it relates to your personal experience. This should be between 3 sentences.

Question 2: (Personal opinions, no right or wrong answers)

In 2-3 sentences, do you agree and why to the following?

Court's decisions in Goodyear and McIntyre, the Court's clarified distinction referenced above will surely be cited and argued in cases where a claim of personal jurisdiction over an out-of-state or foreign company is not so far-fetched. If I purchased a toy from an online retailer who is not registered to do business in California, and it blows up in my face, I would have to file suit in a state other than California. This would pose a financial burden on me in that any depositions or court hearings I wish to participate in would require travel expenses. The same goes for any of my witnesses. Furthermore, what if the company chose to do business in a state with less consumer safety laws? It is not fair that a company can choose to be based out of such a state and distribute their faulty products to any other state with more stringent safety laws. This is not a good decision for consumers.

In 2-3 sentences, do you agree and why to the following?

Regarding state of New Jersey. The state of NJ is clearly limiting the access of its citizens to guns, as the case stated its not a complete prohibition, but its merely one step away and that would be complete repeal of the citizens 14th amendment. I agree no all people are fit to own a gun, but this is why the purchasing process can be made more diligent, but why limit the true enthusiast. You dont need a special license to play baseball, but you can sure kill someone with a baseball bat.
