1. a. Calculate the magnetic field strength and direction at location (x,y)=(-1, -1)in cm due to a proton at (x,y)=(1, 1)in cm and moving with velocity v=4.5x10^7(j hat) m/s.

b. Similarly, find the speed and direction of a proton passing through the origin and where the magnetic fields are: B1=1.0x10^-13 (j hat) T at (x,y,z)= (1,0,0) in mm, B2= -1x10^-13 (i hat) at (0,1,0) in mm.
