Find the equilibrium composition

Problem

1. One kilomole of water vapor at 100 kPa, 400 K, is heated to 3000 K in a constant-pressure flow process. Determine the final composition, assuming that H2O, H2, H, O2, and OH are present at equilibrium.

2. Water from the combustion of hydrogen and pure oxygen is at 3800 K and 50 kPa. Assume we only have H2O, O2, OH, and H2 as gases with the two simple water dissociation reactions active. Find the equilibrium composition.

The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
