Find efficiency of cylinder in extending-retracting stroke

A double acting hydraulic cylinder (rod diameter ¾ inches) is used to compress garbage. This operation requires a 10-ft stroke and 7000-lb force (both extending and retracting). A 1000-psi pump that supplies 25 gpm of oil is selected. In the cylinder the friction force is evaluated to be 200 lb (for stroke both way) and oil leakage accounts for 0.3 gpm.

Find:

The area of the piston.
The time to complete one entire cycle.
The hydraulic horsepower delivered to the cylinder in the extending and retracting stroke.
The efficiency of the cylinder in the extending and retracting stroke.
