Find change in specific entropy for air undergoing process

1) Initially, an insulated rigid tank contains 2.85 kg of water at 263oC and 1 MPa. A heater in the wall of the tank maintains the wall temperature at 600oC. After a period of time, the pressure in the tank rises to 1.5 MPa. Determine the total entropy generation (kJ/K) during this process.

2) Steam at 1 MPa, 609.4oC, expands in a turbine to 0.01 MPa. If the process is isentropic, find the work per unit mass (kJ/kg) produced by the turbine.

3) Determine the change in specific entropy (kJ/kg-K) for air undergoing a process from state 1 (T1 = 300 K, P1 = 109 kPa) to state 2 (T2 = 876 K, P2 = 467 kPa). Assume variable specific heats (use the ideal gas tables). Your answers may vary slighly (< 1%) from the given answer.
