This podcast was a great presentation that explored the history behind invisible disabilities and examples of struggles faced by this community. The podcast heighted that people assumes that those living with invisible disability can do what those living with visible disability and no accommodation is provided for them. The group stated various kinds of disabilities such as PTSP, Autism etc. The podcast made me to understand what it would be like to live with an invisible disability by providing both personal and general experiences encountered their day-to-day life. I enjoyed the discussion aspect of putting the class into groups and giving us real-life scenarios, and how one might experience hardships while working or doing daily tasks. I would have liked more time to discuss our scenarios; however, I do understand that time was limited. Overall, this podcast is very insightful and it will make me to be a better social worker in future by exhibiting empathy, and inclusiveness. Need Assignment Help?
