Question: The purpose of this problem is to explore conflicts of interest between an organization and an HCW. Is it ethically permissible to represent both the organization and some of its constituents? Example: when an organization is being sued for the actions or inactions of one of its HCWs, the interests of the organization and those of that individual are potentially adverse. Can a lawyer represent the organization and the HCW?
